  • The ACLU on campus hosts a variety of debates, demonstrations, and other activities.
  • The Duke Conservative Union publishes New Sense, invites speakers, issues statements, and influences university policy.
  • The Duke Political Union organizes talks, and events designed to unite disparate political viewpoints. The DPU also publishes the Duke Political Review.
  • The Smell Wave Underground is a secret society at Duke University consisting of free thinkers and new, sometimes radical, concepts. The membership into the Underground is an invite only.
