The Duke Conservative Union or DCU is a student group which strives to promote conservative and libertarian principles, policies, and candidates on campus. Part of the mandate of the DCU is to act as an umbrella group for conservative, classical liberal, and libertarian organizations -- undergraduate and graduate campus clubs, societies, etc. that subscribe to the DCU's Statement of Principles.
The DCU also backs the conservative New Sense publication, and members form the staff of the conservative Duke New Sense Blog.
