- Visit the Alpine Atrium for a smoothy.
- WEDNESDAYS - Jazz at the Mary Lou from All Campus Entertainment
- THURSDAYS- Pub Quiz at Armadillo Grill from All Campus Entertainment
- SATURDAYS- Student Bands at the Armadillo Grill
- Stay in your dorm and watch a movie or a student-run show on Cable13, the first student-run cable station in the nation.
- Listen to WXDU-FM online
- Go to a Broadway at Duke show
- The Brown Art Gallery in the Bryan Center is a 5 minute pick me up during the day. Good place to eat lunch too.
